Skye Blakely is a two-time world team champion, in Liverpool in 2022 and Antwerp in 2023. Twice she was on track for the Olympics and got hurt right before Trials: a torn elbow ligament in 2021, and in 2024, as U.S. runner-up behind Simone Biles, a torn Achilles.
Just 199 days after the Achilles tear, she competed her first routine for the Florida Gators. In 2025 she shared the U.S. bars title and placed fourth on bars at her third straight Worlds.
In 2026 she was named co-SEC Specialist of the Year, then finished seventh all-around and second on bars at nationals. At the selection camp in Crossville she put up a 56.500 all-around on day one, including a 14.550 on bars, and earned her spot for Rotterdam. It will be her fourth Worlds.
Born in Dallas, she trained for years at WOGA. Bars and beam are her strengths.
