Gabrielle Black

Gabrielle Black is one of Canada’s most dependable vaulters. The Milton, Ontario, native won vault at the DTB Pokal in Stuttgart two years running: in 2025 with a 13.575, on a weekend when she also won the all-around, and again in 2026, when Canada took the team title as well.

She made her Worlds debut in Jakarta in 2025, finishing 11th on vault in qualifying as the third reserve for the final. Earlier that year she helped Canada to team silver at Pan Ams in Panama City, placing fourth on bars and fifth in the all-around.

In 2026 she was all-around runner-up at both Elite Canada and the Canadian Championships, won vault bronze at International Gymnix, earned team bronze at Pan Ams in Rio, where she made the vault and floor finals, and added team silver at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Black trains at Oakville Gymnastics Club with coach Olena Yermolchuk and has committed to the University of Utah. Gymnastics Canada has named her to its team for Worlds in Rotterdam.
