Manila Esposito

Manila Esposito is already an Olympic medalist and one of the most decorated European gymnasts of her generation. At the 2024 Euros on home soil in Rimini she won four golds: team, all-around, beam and floor. That summer in Paris she took Olympic beam bronze and team silver with Italy.

In 2025 in Leipzig she defended her European all-around title, the first woman to win back-to-back crowns since Svetlana Khorkina. She then sat out Worlds in Jakarta.

Born in Boscotrecase at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, she competes for the Fiamme Oro police sports group and for Ginnastica Civitavecchia in Serie A. Beam is her signature event, and her floor has made the biggest jump over the last two years.

She returned in 2026 with beam gold at the Osijek World Cup and Italian titles on beam and floor, then won European floor gold in Zagreb plus silver on beam and with the team. She is on Italy’s provisional list for Worlds in Rotterdam.
