Naomi Visser has been the Netherlands’ all-around anchor for years, and this October Worlds come almost to her doorstep: she grew up in Papendrecht, just outside Rotterdam, and started gymnastics at six.

At Euros in Zagreb she finished fourth in the all-around standings, just off the podium, but two falls in the bars final left her eighth. She won European team bronze with the Dutch in 2018 and 2023, competed at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, and at the 2025 Worlds in Jakarta made both the all-around final (ninth) and the bars final (sixth).

Bars remain her signature event. She now trains at Top Turn Academy Achterhoek in Varsseveld with Vincent Wevers and Willemijn van der Borg.

Visser won the first Dutch Worlds trial with a 52.400. The second trial is Oct. 3, and the Netherlands names its team on Oct. 5.
