Liudmila Roshchina

Liudmila Roshchina waited a long time for her international debut. A member of Russia’s national team since 2020, she made her first international start at the 2025 Worlds in Jakarta, competing as an Individual Neutral Athlete, and finished 11th in the all-around.

Since then she has become one of the pillars of the Russian squad. She won the Voronin Cup all-around in Moscow in late 2025, and in 2026 took gold on vault and floor and silver on bars at the Antalya World Cup. At the Russian Championships in Kaluga she won the bars and floor titles and all-around silver.

At Euros in Zagreb, Russia won the team title as a neutral team, and Roshchina’s 53.866 was the fourth-best all-around total in qualifying.

Born in 2008, she trains in Anapa and Krasnodar under Elena Ayloyan and Olga Nekhtiy. Russia and Belarus compete in Rotterdam as neutral teams without flag or anthem; Roshchina is one of six names on Russia’s FIG entry, and five will compete.
