Jade Carey has two Olympic gold medals: floor in Tokyo in 2021 and the team title in Paris in 2024, where she also added bronze on vault.
Vault has been her calling card for years. She won the world title in 2022, took world silver in 2017 and 2023, and helped Team USA win back-to-back world team golds in 2022 and 2023.
Born in Phoenix, she has been coached by her dad, Brian Carey, since she was a kid, first at Arizona Sunrays. She earned her spot in Tokyo as an individual through the World Cup series and turned it into gold. Along the way she also competed in college for Oregon State.
In 2026 she came back to the all-around, won the U.S. vault title and placed fifth all-around at nationals. After the selection camp in Crossville, USA Gymnastics named her the non-traveling alternate for Worlds in Rotterdam.
