Helen Kevric

Helen Kevric is the best German all-arounder since reunification. At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, she finished eighth in the all-around final and sixth on bars, a breakthrough that announced her as one of the world's elite.

Born in Ostfildern near Stuttgart in 2008 and representing MTV Stuttgart, Kevric came up as a junior bars specialist, winning silver on the event at the 2023 Junior World Championships. In 2024 she won the German all-around title, and in 2025 she helped Germany to team silver at the home European Championships in Leipzig.

Then came a serious setback: a knee injury in 2025 that required surgery in Stuttgart. Since returning in early 2026, she has competed only on bars and beam, and the comeback has been a resounding success. In August she won the European title on bars in Zagreb, after taking national titles on bars and beam earlier in the summer.

At Germany's first Worlds trial in Ketsch, she posted the top bars score of the day (14.650) and the second-best beam score (13.350). She is in the running for the five-woman team for Rotterdam, which the German federation names on October 5. Her long-term target: LA28.
