Claire Pease made the biggest leap in U.S. gymnastics this year: from 10th at 2025 nationals to second in Phoenix, plus the national title on bars, where she hit a 14.350 on day two. In June she swept the all-around, floor and team golds at Pan Ams in Rio.

At the selection camp in Crossville she posted the top all-around score on September 30, a 56.700, and locked up the first automatic spot on Team USA for Rotterdam. It will be her first Worlds, at 17.

Born in Honolulu, where her family was stationed with the military, she grew up in the Dallas area. She trains at WOGA under Valeri and Anna Liukin, alongside Hezly Rivera. Beam is her favorite event.
