Bohdana Kovalova is one of Ukraine’s young hopes. Born in Donetsk in 2010, she’s in her first senior season and is named in Ukraine’s entry for Worlds in Rotterdam — her first World Championships.

She spent 2026 on the World Cup circuit. Her best results: fourth on vault and bars in Baku, sixth on beam in Cottbus and sixth on bars at the Paris World Challenge Cup in September. At Euros in Zagreb she scored 13.600 on bars.

As a junior she competed at the 2025 European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje (eighth on beam) and at Junior Worlds in Manila, and she won beam and floor at the Pharaoh’s Cup in Egypt.

Kovalova is a student at the Ivan Piddubnyi Olympic College in Kyiv and is coached by Olha Kovalova and Ihor Kovalov.
