Alice Kinsella is back — and headed to Worlds. The two-time Olympian returned to elite gymnastics after the birth of her son, Parker, in summer 2025, and a little over a year later British Gymnastics named her to its team for Rotterdam. According to BG, she’s the first British artistic gymnast of the modern era to make an elite comeback after having a baby.

The comeback moved fast: beam only at the British Championships in March 2026 (fourth), then all-around and team gold at the Senior Team International in Stoke with 53.900.

Her résumé runs deep. Kinsella won beam at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and in 2019 became Britain’s first European beam champion. She won Olympic team bronze in Tokyo, team and floor gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, team gold at Euros in 2023 and all-around bronze at Euros in 2024, and competed again at Paris 2024.

Beam is her favorite and strongest event. She trains at Park Wrekin Gymnastics Club with Brett Ince and Christine Still.
