Alena Glotova

Alena Glotova was part of the Russian team that won European gold in Zagreb in 2026, competing as World Gymnastics 2 (WG2). She qualified fourth into the bars final with a 14.300 and finished sixth in the final.

At the 2026 Russian Championships in Kazan she won all-around bronze, adding to earlier national medals on beam in 2023 and floor in 2022. In September she won the all-around at the Spartakiad of the Peoples of Russia with a 53.399, plus silver on bars. It was a strong return after a serious training injury in 2025, when she broke both legs.

From Tula, she is coached by Svetlana Lavrushina. She is one of six gymnasts on Russia’s FIG entry for Worlds in Rotterdam, where five will compete. Russia competes as a neutral team, without flag or anthem.
