Alba Petisco

Alba Petisco has been the backbone of the Spanish team for years, and in 2025 she gave Spain a historic moment: all-around silver at Euros in Leipzig, the first European all-around medal for a Spanish woman, plus bronze on floor.

In Zagreb in 2026 she placed fifth in the all-around and fifth on floor, tied with the fourth-place finisher and just a tenth off bronze. She also won four silver medals at the 2026 Mediterranean Games in Taranto, including the all-around, and is the reigning Spanish champion.

A two-time Olympian, Petisco competed in Tokyo and Paris, and as a teenager won gold with a mixed team at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games.

She’s from Sant Joan Despí near Barcelona and trains at Club Gimnàstica Esplugues Les Moreres with coach Kati Zapata. Spain qualified a full team for Worlds in Rotterdam, and Petisco is its leading all-arounder.
