Aitana Pacheco

Aitana Pacheco made a final at her very first European Championships. At 16, the Spaniard qualified for the beam final in Zagreb, improved on her qualifying score and finished sixth with a 13.300. She also helped Spain to seventh in the team final, which earned the Spanish women a team spot at Worlds.

Her first senior season opened in March with vault bronze at the City of Jesolo Trophy. She added team silver and fourth on vault at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto, and in September she topped beam qualifying at the Paris Challenge Cup before placing fifth in the final, along with fifth on floor and sixth on vault.

Spain has named her to its six-woman squad for Worlds in Rotterdam.
